NEMA engages an external specialist agency to manage its housekeeping operations. The agency is responsible for daily sweeping, mopping, bed-making, and dusting of the facility. Care attendants may assist in emergencies or during off-duty hours of the housekeeping staff.
NEMA has a central laundromat equipped with washing machines and dryers. Each resident’s clothes are collected, washed, dried, ironed, packed, and delivered. Clothes are washed unit-wise to prevent cross-infection. We encourage residents to have their clothes tagged for easy identification
